The work consists of simple bargraphs showing pollution in the area surrounding the Airport Schwechat in the year 2021. Through sculptural use, they become abstract aesthetic material.
Every day, the mass media provide us with a flood of facts and numbers. This over-information usually leaves us with nothing more than a diffuse feeling of danger. Through our subjective gaze, concrete data is abstracted into an amorphous threat.
