In the piece "Contact," crop circles (Kornkreise) were shaved into a living room rug and various objects, seemingly randomly assembled, were ritually placed on top – almost as if to attract visitors.

What does man need to know himself? This is the central question in Ovid's story. Narcissus is actually
always looking for the other, but only finds himself. Echo seeks himself, but is always dependent on the other.

Do we define ourselves by our Opposite? By the echo? Or by the objects of our everyday lives - the things we surround ourselves with? And what do our subjective anxieties have to do with our positioning in the world?
